7 comments. Best. Add a Comment. That's kind of rare to have wifi and not Bluetooth as most internal WiFi adapters feature both. On the other hand the Bluetooth component appears as a completely separate peripheral to the computer, so one can work while the other doesn't. When I open device manager, there is no bluetooth option. Other recommendations relate to having buetooth devices. I do not have any devices, the only thing I have is the dongle and it is plugged into the computer. It used to work until I updated to windows 10. I am not sure what I could do. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!

A simple fix was to uninstall the driver from device manager (in your case, do this for Bluetooth), then restart the computer. On your keyboard, press the Windows logo + R keys simultaneously to open the Run box. Type services.msc and hit Enter. In Services, locate Bluetooth Support Service. If it isn’t running, right-click on it and select Start; if the status is running, right-click the service and select Restart.

Go as the path: Start > Settings > Devices. 2. Under Bluetooth & other devices, turn off the switch of Bluetooth. You can do that by sliding the Bluetooth switch to the left to turn it off.
