Directions. Place the salad greens in a large bowl. In a small bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Pour enough dressing on the salad to moisten. Toss and serve.
Using this basic formula, there are almost endless variations. For instance, you could use one tablespoon of cider vinegar and three tablespoons of olive oil. Or you could make a big batch of dressing and use 1/4 cup of vinegar mixed with 3/4 cups olive oil. Or use ounces, or milliliters, or the side of a jam jar.
The lemon and olive oil make this dressing unique. I didn't think it was sour at all. Just be sure to use fresh lemons and garlic and a good quality EV olive oil.

Make The Dressing. Add all the ingredients to the small jar of a blender or a food processor and blend for 60 seconds until basil and garlic are blended well with the liquid ingredients.
